In VFP6, with the "trace" window docked, just dragging the "watch" window inside the "trace" window was enough to have VFP arrange them one on top of the other.

In VFP7, with the "trace" window docked, if you drag the "watch" window inside the "trace" window, VFP will dock them side by side. You need to drag the "watch" window close to the top part of the "trace" window to have VFP arrange them one on top of the other.

A neat feature that I found is that VFP 7 can arrange the debug windows in "tabs" This way, you have the "trace" window in one tab and the "watch" window in another. To achieve this, drag the "watch" window all the way to the top of the "trace" window.
