I have just installed two new development Windows 2000 Workstations(SP2) that will be used for VFP 6.0 (SP5) programming. They are connected to a Novell 5.0 server (SP5) and use the latest Novell Client V4.80 (SP3). I assumed incorrectly of course that Visual FoxPro 6.0 would not have any problems with this configuration.

The problem I am experiencing is when I open an existing Form or Menu and then try to save it back to the existing name I get a Visual Foxpro error saying that the form or menu is "Read-Only".

I can save the form or menu as a different filename without any problems, but it won't save as the same filename.

I haven't tried using the Microsoft Client for Netware as I would really like to use the Novell Client for various other reasons.

Has anybody else expeienced the same problem or know of a workaround? I did find a Microsoft support document (Q168055) that indicated that it was a known bug with 5.0a and 6.0 using the Novell Intranetware Client 4.1 on a Windows NT machine, but it gave no hints on a solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
