Friends:

I am using eView (for the first time) with a view comprising of free tables - some VFP6, some FPW2.6 tables.

In this view, I have specified StatLi.StatLiNo as KEY (but not updatable) and one other field as updatable (not a key field). When I attempt to save the view in eView, a dialog pops up warning me as follows :-

You have marked one or more fields for the table "statli" as updateable, but have not specified a key field. Do you want to save anyway?

As mentioned I have specified StatLi.StatLiNo (in the check box) as the KEY field in eView.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Also, when I click the Edit SQL button, I get a program error as follows :-

Property REGISTRYAPP is not found. (Ignore)
Property REGISTRYAPP is not found. (Ignore)

then, the View Text box appears containing a SQL string.

Again, any ideas what might be happening here, too?
