>im new to vfp 6.0 & oop. i would like to know if i can place a one-to-many 'form' inside a pageframe. do i need a container? the one-to-many form works fine but does'nt recognize the 'child' (grid), when adding a record. i have a client who likes the pageframe UI and this small project would get a jump start with help! thanks in advance to anyone who responds to this question...

What do you mean by a one-to-many form? Do you mean a form you created with the wizard?

A form object cannot be contained in a page (which is contained in a pageframe).

I'm not sure what the one-to-many form wizard creates, and I don't really recommend wizards for much more than quick-and-dirty tasks or learning. I woudn't suggest you use them if you need to tweak the way they get made normally.

Depending on what is going on with it, you could use your form wizard as an example of what sorts of controls you need to put on your pageframe pages and how to hook them up to the controls. Also, use the dataenvironment in your wizard form to create the de in the new form you'll create.

Hope I'm not confusing you hopelessly.
