>Hi Everyody,
>I want to activate a window from within a child form. From the child form I am calling a program which actually is a common procedure for many forms and this program defines and activates the window. When I run the child form only, the window appears on the screen but when I call this form from my main form, it hides the window somewhere in the background. Following are the settings for my main and child form. For main form – Always on Top = .T., MDI Form = .T., ShowWindow = 2.As Top Level Form. For child form – ShowWindow = 1.In Top Level Form, Window Type = Modal.

Yashodhan,
With these properties nothing seems wrong. Might it be there is another form/window in between becoming active so always on top kicks into effect ?
