AFAIK, the worst non-war inflation in modern times was here in Bolivia. The worst part of the inflation ended in 1985. At that moment, one dollar was worth about one million Bolivian Pesos. In 1985 - or was it 1986? - the situation stabilized, and a new currency, the "Boliviano", was introduced. One million "Pesos" was set equal to 1 "Boliviano".

After one of the world wars - WW I, I believe - Germany had even higher numbers before the currency change, but I don't have details on record right now.
