>>>I wasn't aware that Canadians didn't have property rights. That's fundamental. Who owns your land, house, car and clothes?

>>>(In the USA we have property rights, as long as we pay taxes. You could say, in effect, that we rent from Uncle SAM!)
>>
>>For us to have property rights, it would have to be entrenched in the Bill of Rights; it isn't. We have Trudeau to thank for that; a Communist symphathizer who was also born with a silver spoon in his mouth. It's always easy to talk about a "just society" when you never have to worry about where your next meal is coming from.

>And here I thought I owned one square inch of land in the Yukon Territory! Since the mid 1950’s I thought this to be true. I have my certificate to the effect I am the owner of said land, which I received through Sargent Preston (a radio and TV program). I am truly stunned! This is what reality is all about – destroying the dreams of a child! Well, I will just rack that up to all the other things I have realized that are not real like Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy!

Tom,
I "own" about 6 square inches too! Got my certificates from Post (I think) cereal boxes. But then I can't find the certificates any more, so I guess no need to go check out the spread.
