If the stretch property is 0 & the picture property is assigned at runtime (eg in init()) - the object size on the form will be modified to match the physical image size, so setting to 1 or 2 has no effect. If the picture property is set at design-time & the object size on the form does not match the image size the image will be clipped (if stretch is 0), and you will see an effect on changing stretch to 1 or 2.
