Now, if you chose to have a pile of (uncovered) pig manure in your back yard and cow manure in your front yard, would these rights let you continue to do so after a visit to court?

One of the arguments against entrenching property rights in our "Bill of Rights" is that you couldn't stop someone from doing something like that. My take on it was (is): so what. An owner ought to be able to do whatever he wishes with his own property.
