Mike, I disagree. It's a pleasure to read a reply from an experienced UTer/MVP who includes the original question - Q&A in one handy package - no need to bounce back & forth between messages.
Of course, it can be carried too far - Robert's & Ken's announcements being prime examples, and autoquoting messages 3,4,5 levels back - but I think in general the benefits, if it's applied intelligently, outweigh the drawbacks.
