I inherited mine from my dad. He bought it in 1973 (I was about 11 yrs old) in Houston, Tx for about 6500 dollars. Corvettes of Dallas appraised it at about 30,000 dollars as is.
I'll pass it on to my 20 months old son when he turns 21 years of age.
