Ah, but Ken's been in *marketing* and product management for the last 2 or 3 years. Ken hasn't written much code in this time and I think he's learned a lot in those years about being practical about can be done and what isn't going to be done.

And I would expect Ken to be outspoken about the policy and not wishy washy around the issues as has been the case for so long. Ken's energy is also important - this is someone who's 'into' this product, not that Robert wasn't but Roberts's been doing lots of other stuff.

Don't underestimate what that can accomplish in attention level both internal to Microsoft as well as external...

THIS is a good thing, no doubt about it!
