>>My brief bio relating to FoxPro: Ken Levy started working with FoxBase 1.02 in 1986 and has developed many high profile applications and tools in all version of FoxPro through Visual FoxPro 6.0
A lot of us here on UT did use fox starting 1.x and have effectively sticked to it, at least partly, all those years. Most of our web stuff is already in "open source" python but we stick to vfp for win32 ui. Oldish but goldish.
vfp developpers tend to be mature and platform-agnostic.
Long term they are potentially more Linux (yes we moved our web dev. to this platform) and delphi/kylix converts than potential vb or .net addicts.
That is worth a few specific efforts in Redmond in keep them onboard.
Good luck in your new job
