Hi Ulises,
The developer of MSComm32, for MicroSoft, was Crescent / Progressive. They also make an upgrade for it, PDQComm, that includes many standard file transfer protocols, and single call file transfer. Other benifits include PDQ TAPI calls, and terminal emulation.
