See... this is EXACTLY what I've been talking about. It doesn't matter what MS does, there are people that will NOT be statisfied.Microsoft is carrying forward a boatload of prior bad behavior. If I, and a very large part of the world, do not believe MS is going to do good, it's because it has a long history of lies and broken promises.
I will certainly be satisfied if Ken is permitted to make contributions that will result in a better, more stable, less buggy more widely respected product. Whether that happens remains to be seen. Until then, I remain my usual skeptical self where MicroSoft is concerned.
