>I have read about the problem before, but don't remember what I have to do to get around it. In the view designer, I have three tables, one parent and two children. Upon closing the view designer, I get the message 'SQL: Column 'myfield' not found.' The field is obviously in the table, but the view designer is getting confused because of the order it has joined the tables or something. Had this problem before? How do you get around it? I have already adding and joining the tables in a different order, no help. Thanks in advance.

Hi, The only time you should use the view designer, is for simple views. I use gendbc to write all the codes of my database in a file. When I want to make modification on the view, simply re-load the code from the file. In that way, you don't have to restrict yourself using only the filter tab.
