In Fairfield IA (and probably several other places as well) they have a "Blizzard Open" golf tournament in early February. One of the member's house was at the 4th tee. He would have HOT cider (spiked and regular) available. By the time you got to the 4th green you were usually able to bite off a hunk, rather than drink it.
