Eh? I just looked, and didn't see that MODIFY REPORT was restricted... what was I missing?

Claudio, is the report built into the project, and not marked as excluded? If so, it's read-only. VFP will always attempt to use the file built into the EXE in preference to the file on disk. I'm not sure this is the cause of your behavior, but it might be something to look at.
