The next meeting of the Rocky Mountain Fox Users Group is Wednesday, August 22, 2001. It will be held at National Cable Television Institute, 801 W. Mineral, Littleton, CO from 6:15pm to about 8:45pm.

Jim Slater will demonstrate several of the new features in VFP 7, which is now available. There are far too many enhancements in VFP 7 to cover in one meeting. This presentation will focus on the host of new features that developers can take advantage of immediately in their current projects. These include Intellisense, Task Lists and Bookmarks, new shortcut and navigation keys, dockable windows, and new and improved commands and functions. Some of the more advanced features such as Database Events, XML conversion, exposing Interfaces, and Installshield for VFP will be demonstrated briefly. They will be covered in more detail at future monthly meetings.
