If you have VB samples, you can easy convert them to VFP. I guess there should be programmers help file in Power Point installation that describe all objects model for Power Point include samples for VB. When you have troubles to convert certain VB sample to VFP, post it here.

As about knowing something changed in PowerPoint in VFP app, what did you meant by that? Did you meant getting data from PP or responding to the events firing in PP objects model? If first, just use the same suggestions as I already mentioned. For second, you can use VFPCOM/DLL to bind VFP object methods to COM object events.
