Hi Thomas - firstly I just had txt_firsttextbox.setfocus() but in a vain attempt to rectify the problem I added a method that searched the form for a textbox with tabindex = 1 and .setfocus() Neither works when adding the first record but after that the cursor is flashing away in the first textbox ready for user input...
