I'm not sure what you want to do. Are you saying you just don't want to use a SUBMIT button, but otherwise use a form? You can prefill the form easily enough with ASP style tag expressions and you can submit the form with some JScript code as Michel pointed out. If you use JScript code you can also pull the values out of the form on the client side, but without the POST you won't be able to send it to the server (well there are ways, but that's a long story)...
