For lack of a better place to this question. I have already tried the MS usergroup...
So here goes. I have a MS exchange server 5.50 working fine, internal people work great with it, using exchance protocal, outside people can use it, when they they use outlook. But Outlook express.. well thats the issue.

if they set up their mailbox, as imap, attachments come over, to them, but they are not encoded in a way that outlook express can decode them., so it appears to outlook express that there is no attachment, when actually there is.

Also, if I change the protocal, to pop3. attachments come over fine.

i have tested this with other email servers, to rule out that it was outlook express itself causing the probblem, and it is. Any other non exchance type email server can send out attachments and be recieved fine by the same outlook express client. Just when the attachment is sent from my exchance server, are attachments not recieved properly. Go figure.

Any suggestions ?
