Try a query for Q133163 in MSDN (both local and online: it will give back several related articles that will cover these issues). I think it's a matter of get rid of printer-dependent info in FRX table.

>I'm trying to print half-page reports. The only way to do this by the book is by entering the Page Setup, going to the printer properties, and choosing Custom Paper Size ( instead of the A4 i had before ). It works nice, and i entered the values of the new size manually when prompted ( 2100 mm wide, and 1485 mm height ). All was great, and i see the report designer shows the report in the new size.
>Alas, when i save the report and open it again, it is exactly 6.35 inches wide ( no matter what width i set manually ). Also, when trying to manually increment the value of the Width file in the Page Setup, i see the max. is 6.35, meaning this is the value received by the Printer Setup.
>I also noticed that when i set to custom , the minimum possible width range is 72 to 220 mm. 72 mm is exactly 6.35 inches!! This means that when i save the report, the Custom size defined in the Printer setup is lost and goes back to the minimum. I also checked manually in the FRX file, and saw the right values in there ( PaperLength=1485 and PaperWidth=2100 ).
>So, the question is if anyone ever saw this and has a workaround. I think this is maybe not a VFP bug, but rather a general problem in the Printer Setup.

bye
