I have a parent/child form created with the form wizard. The keyfield is the employeeid. In the employee table, employeeid field, the default value is getNextID("EMPLOYEE"). The problem is when running the form, no id gets assigned. BUT, if I just browse the table and do an append it works. This form was generated with the wizard.

I'm sure this problem has been conquered before, so if anyone can suggest a way I'd appreciate it.
