That got me thinking and I figured out what was going on. I'm using VSS and somehow I have managed to have my screens pointing to a copy of my DBC on the wrong drive. I think what I have is a really messed up pathing because when I browse the scx I noticed that the libraries and the data dictionary are referenced from k: instead of f:. My project says its home directory is f: so I'm not sure how this happened, perhaps because somewhere in VSS I have said my project was on k: I'm not sure how to fix it and how far reaching this problem is but that is definitly my problem. Thanks to both of you for that heads up that got me thinking.
