>Thanks for your ideas, after some more hard work and shear luck, have reduced the memory being taken up by issuing CLEAR CLASS command for all classes in an class libraries where an object is created from one or more classes in this library. Because the app that i am dealing with is large with approx hundreds of classes this started to degrade performance alot.
CLEAR CLASS seems like a reasonable thing to try, since VFP supposedly keeps class definitions in memory unless you clear them. If you have a lot of unique, "heavy" classes, I guess it starts to add up. Although I have a lot of classes, I do a lot of subclassing; memory consumption does not appear to be particularly dramatic.
