>>I have a client using a product we created in FPW26a who is reporting a "Transaction in Progress" error. I've never seen this error before and the help file isn't really specific about what causes it. Has anybody seen one of these before? Any idea what could cause it? I'm still trying to identify where the problem may be happening in the code, but thought I'd see if anyone else had any experience with it first.

FLOCK() and RLOCK() normally do not prevent other users from reading the locked information. This message, which scrolls from left to right indicates that FoxPro is still active, was added for compatibility wiht Novell's transaction tracking system (TTS)

Thanks, Bret. I had gotten far enough to know what help said, but since we aren't using any explicit FLOCKs or RLOCKs, I was wondering more about the TTS stuff. I was thinking maybe multi-user too, but Sergey's comments made me start wondering about disabling TTS. I'm not sure yet if the client is running under Novell, but it sounds like it.

Thanks,
Scott
