A couple of general points:
- if you put your code in a dummy class or .PRG you could then compile it and let the compiler catch the error for you
- another powerful technique is what I call "binary tree" - split your code into two parts. Beautify the top part. If there is nothing strange there, problem is in the bottom part. Split the bottom part... etc. etc. Eventually you'll zero in on the offending code.
