Has anyone tried the following;
Append data from an Excel spreadsheet. Specifically, from a sheet call "Data Input" which is the third sheet. There are a total of 5 sheets within the spreadsheet. I simply want to load in the third sheet into a DBF. The third sheet is properly formatted so the Append command XL5 Sheet "Data Input" will work. The one problem I have, is if the third sheet is empty. The append command disreguards the sheet "Data Input" altogether and grabs the next sheet, sheet 4 and tries to load it into my temp DBF. My validation routines make all of the data fail, but I just wanted to check EOF() in my temp DBF that is being populated from sheet "Data Input". Well I guess another "By Design" feature of VFP. Any comments are welcome. Thanks!
