Easy..
1. Sell more product as a result of successful marketing
2. More cash goes into VFP team coffers.
3. VFP team uses cash to 'buy' whatever they need to make product better - even if that means less stress as a result of one more developer or help writer or tester or ??

The money that successful marketing generates should IMO be plowed back ito the product and more marketing.
