Michel, I can do what you suggest in html using front page ( despite that nasty glitch with the "_" character! ), I just haven't figured out how to get the java methods onto a vis fox rendered form! ( ie, the java usually goes in the document header, and the vis fox wc FUNCTION uses the button submit, BUT I haven't found a demo of how to put the java onto the fox form AND CALL IT!

I expect a bunch of response.writeln commands would get it there, but I don't quite understands how to connect the button click FOX code of my fox form to the java script in the WC function
