X is a valid pathed file name with extension, I test for it in considerable detail not shown ( size not 0 , not locked, etc ) because the code is usually in a loop and sometimes the file name shows up with 0 size for a few seconds.

BUT last week there was no file name at all for several minutes! AND since rebooting no problems!
