Win2K is very protective of the system folder. It does, however, support what are referred to as "side-by-side" dlls. I'd first check to make sure that the files were indeed copied into the system directory. If not, that would explain the problem. Second, you may want keep copying the files into the executable's folder. This is now the standard practice under Win2K for any application requiring a specific version of a DLL.
