Modify the remote view, click the properties button, and change the Data Type under Data Mapping.
>Now this solution sounds interesting, yes we are using remote views. This could work well until we established more control over our edits (as J suggests). However, I am unaware of the secret of changing the data type on a column in a view. How do you we do this magic feat?
