Again, I am writing module for stock valuation report, which calculate stock value. User request to able to view the stock value for any period. The date may be 2 months ago....I have a problem to obtain the stock balance qty of each items. Therefore, I think to re-calculate the total purchase, return, sales and etc in order to get the qty which "may" remained at that time. If the records of purchase, sales are being purged, then the qty i obtain will not be correct. Any ideas? How do you solve this usually?
