Yeesh, it's Sandy Eggo, no planned activities are needed because there's plenty to do. The beaches alone could keep me entertained while my spouse sat in sessions during the day. Got a car? Drive up the Coastal Highway to Big Sur. Take a day trip to Tijuana (or have her wait until you get out for the evening and go with her). Cabrillo National Monument is kind of nice, sitting out on its own little peninsula. Go up to Joshua Tree National Park, very nice out there. Into hiking? Lots of state and national parks/wilderness areas close by, though a lot of it may be desert.
