>I am planning on being at DevCon next month in San Diego (it will be my very first VFP convention of any sort) and the wife will be with me. We arrive Friday and will have a couple of days to see the sights before the conference starts. On Monday through Wednesday, my wife will be looking for things to do especially during the day when we will all be up to our ears in VFP.

I lived eight years in San Diego. Rent her a car and give he a map. She'll never get bored. It's a nice place to visit, but it's a cultural void compared to New York. Nice beaches. Wild animal Park. Old City is cool. Don't let her go to Tijuana by herself. Parts north of San Digeo are nice too. Have fun!
