Does anyone have feedback regarding VFP performance against an MS/SQL database? Is performance better/worse/(the same) vs VB?

Given that this is a new prospective client, I think my group would need to go in with its current strength (VFP). I intend on relaying information that paints a very positive picture of VFP while at the same time indicating that a mix of tools might be in order.
