That is called Cadillac Ranch.

>Off the South side I-40 just west of Amarillo, Tx. there's a Cadillac 'CarHenge' with 9 caddie's buried nose end down about 150 yards off the frontage road. We just went thru that area on 7-29. The people we asked in Amarillo had to think a few seconds about what we were asking them when we asked about 'carhenge.' It had just finished a 30 minute downpour and the mud was about 2" deep or more so we didn't walk out to it. They had been painted in patterns of rich bright colors that reminded me of the way some hippies in the 60's and 70's painted their VW vans. There they were, surrounded by as flat a landscaped as you'd ever want to see: the colorful flowers of technological humanity.
