>Hi Nadya,

Sergey,

When we're sending mails from our WorkStations (say, from my computer or from user's computer) accessing files from NT server (e.g. files physically reside on NT server) we have problems with some file extensions, for instance, PDF, ZIP, DAT files are not send properly, while DBF, CDX do.

When we send mails accessing files from Novell server (Development server) - everything works fine.

When we send files using Outlook Express, everything works fine too.

When we send files from server directly (from this machine), it also works.

So, the problem is really bizarre. Something is set wrongly on Client GroupWise, which doesn't allow it to work properly. We're trying to find out, what's wrong with my manager and our Network Administrator, but haven't come to the idea yet.

May be you have some fresh ideas?

Thanks in advance.

>>>Just a SWAG, maybe you should install GroupWise client on NT server and try to send emails with atachments from it.

All data, output files and applications reside on server. When we send mails with attachment accessing Novell (Development) server from workstation, everything works fine. However, when we try to send files from NT server, the files arrive either without attachment, or with attachment showed incorrectly (Part1 instead of real name and extension). Both systems work fine with Outlook Express. I also tried to send files directly from my workstation and attach files from Live server, and it worked just fine.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
