I'm having a problem registering some VFP DLLs on a Win2K server.
Regsvr32.exe will just go and go and go. Windows processing suspends for a moment or two, with a wait state hourglass showing, then continue.
Checking Task mgr | Processes tab, however, shows that Regsvr32.exe is still running.
I have even copied the necessary files over to the server to attempt to build the thing there. Same exact thing.
I have never seen this process hang before. Normally it bombs or succeeds immediately.
Any ideas?
I'm to the point of recommending that the server get formatted and recreated. That's not a big deal, since it's a development server, but it concerns me that this registration issue would happen at all.
Thx.
