This would work, if you print in the natural order. Cathy Pountney discussed another method in her article in FoxTalk (it's either Feb. 2001 or March 2001 issue):

Before running report
go bottom
lnRecno=recno()
go top

Run report, check for recno()=lnRecno in the report footer.
