Maybe I'm missing something. I've got a grid with a container in a column (the container contains a textbox with controlsource set to a date field, and a command button which activates a calendar). I've got the column set for sparse = .t., with controlsource for the column set to the date field, but bound set to .f., since the control in the container has control. What happens is that the container works fine (well, GOTFOCUS doesn't fire, but MS has an KB bug article about that), but when focus is shifted off a row, that column comes up blank, not displaying the date. I tried setting the controlsource for the column to dtoc() with no luck.

Is using DynamicCurrentControl to change controls the only way to have a container in a grid column as CurrentControl, and have a plain textbox show when focus is not on a row?
