If you can't name more than a few design patterns off the top of your head, or if you find yourself thinking "What a great movie!" when someone talks about a "memento," you should buy it. You'll find that the patterns are language-independent. We have a copy in the office, but after reading a couple of chapters, I bought my own.

You probably already use a version of some patterns described, you just didn't know you were using them, and you may find that you could have done a better/faster/less "buggy" job had you read the book first. It's next on my reading list after I finish "The UML Modeling Language User Guide" -- another excellent book by the way.
