Mike,

>You don't.

Pardon? If a PC is changed substantially, (or if a new PC is bought while the old one given away), XP will see it as a new PC and you will have to register it again...can you point me to a link that says otherwise?

I don't care if the registration is so simple as to only take a minute, that is a minute I am losing even though I have been totally honest with my vendor. If that is acceptable to you, then we should just agree to disagree.

>I hear this all the time too, sorry, but its dumb. They haven't saved any money yet! The anit-piracy thing hasn't worked yet... why? Because the software's not due out until October! You can't lower the price of software based on something that hasn't happened, or isn't guaranteed to happen.

If you can look me in the virtual eyes and tell me that if piracy were shown to be reduced that a cut in the price of the next version of Windows would follow, then I concede the argument to you.
