I personally don't like recommending software only on someone's say so; I suggested the Web so that you could tell your "client" what others had recommended AND add that there are still a number of alternatives.

As far as me having any experience with "HVAC software", no; as far as Work Orders, Invoicing, Time capture, Costing, etc. ... I developed a "ERP" system to do all that.
