Once you a have a drive letter mapped to the location, use CONFIG.FPW to set your default to that location and FoxPro will not care that it is a TCP/IP connection or any other type of networking for that matter. PMFJI, but you don't even need to map a network drive to access databases over a network (tcpip or others). I have a production application that runs from one of our NT servers which uses Universal Naming Convention (UNC) paths to the files and works fine. The server is in Harrisburg, PA and we have users in various buildings here and some at a facility in North Carolina.
