I received your email.

If I try to save the attachment with Save Target As, it saves an HTML file of the email, not the attachement.

If I try to to open the attachment with Open the file in a new window, the Save dialog is displayed and the attachment is given a name with no extension. I renamed the saved attachment to a ZIP file and I was able to unzip its contents (one flat file of data).

I think you should ask your Syatem Administrator to check the structural integrity of the email server database because it looks like you have some corrupted pointers.
