When you say report, do you mean a report you have done with the VFP report writer? If so, then you may be missing the fact that all variable have to have scope from your report calling method and the data needs to be in the report data environment or be in the selected work area when the report is called. Depends on how you have the report set up. I have found, for me its usally easier to have all the needed info in a cursor created for that report before calling the report.
